Hindi week celebration at Visakhapatnam Regional Centre of ICAR-CMFRI
Visakhapatnam Regional Centre of ICAR-CMFRI organized the valedictory function for Hindi Week on September 30, 2024, at 10:30 AM, The event was presided over by Dr. T. Srinivas, Scientist (C) at the Coastal Ecosystem Centre, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MOEF), Visakhapatnam, and Dr. Bharathi Patel, Scientist (C) at the Institute of Forest Biodiversity (ICFRE), Hyderabad, who served as the Chief Guests.
The Hindi Week celebrations, which took place from September 23 to September 30, 2024, featured a variety of engaging competitions designed to promote the use of the Hindi language. Participants showcased their talents in events such as Elocution, Translation, Hindi Quiz, Antakshari, and Song Competitions. As part of the Hindi Fortnight / Pakwada celebration at the Head Quarters at Kochi, some competitions were organized in hybrid mode for the benefit of the staff at all the centres of ICAR-CMFRI. Participants from the centre took part in online Hindi Noting and Drafting, Hindi Quiz, Hindi Typing in Unicode on computer and Hindi Elocution.
At the end of the event, the winners of the Hindi Week received their certificates from the Head of the Regional Centre (HORC) and the Chief Guests. The valedictory function celebrated both programs successfully and concluded with a group photo before wrapping up.
