ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (ICAR-CMFRI) is organizing a Training on Fish Seed Production from 21 to 30 September 2026 at the Vizhinjam Regional Centre of ICAR-CMFRI, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
The training aims to impart scientific and technical knowledge on marine fish seed production to interested stakeholders and support the future expansion and intensification of mariculture. The programme will cover key aspects of breeding and seed production of marine finfish and shellfish, hatchery systems, live feed management, biosecurity, health management, genetics, seed quality improvement, water quality management, and fish handling and stress management.
