Background :
I pursued my B.F.Sc degree from the College of Fisheries, Panangad, Kochi, from 2004 to 2009, and M.F.Sc. in Fisheries Resource Management from CIFE, Mumbai, from 2009 to 2011. I worked in a fish exporting company in the Kingdom of Bahrain before joining CMFRI in 2016. In the division, I am mainly working on the breeding of marine food fishes and ornamental fishes. I have played a key role in the year-round seed production of Silver Pompano, which is being transported to state government hatcheries for supply to stakeholders. The breeding and seed production of Giant Trevally is a breakthrough in the Indian mariculture scenario. I have also made significant breakthroughs in ornamental fish, including the Black-bar Chromis and Maldives Damsel.
