Background :
I have completed my B.F.Sc from College of Fisheries, Panangad, Kochi, under Kerala Agricultural University followed by M.F.Sc and PhD from ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai. Joined ARS in 2014 and has been working at Mandapam Regional Centre of ICAR CMFRI in the Mariculture Division from 2014 till date. Prior to joining ICAR, I had worked as Assistant Director in the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt of India for 5 years. Currently associated with all the inhouse research projects of the Mariculture Division of ICAR- CMFRI, All India Network Project (AINP) on Mariculture, AINP on Ornamental fish Breeding and Culture, AINP on Fish Health and also in externally funded projects funded by ICAR, DBT, NFDB, NCDC and DAHDF, Govt of India under PMMSY. Involved in the breeding and seed production of marine food fishes ornamental fishes. Involved in the pure culture and mass culture of micro algae, rotifers and copepods. Involved in the popularisation of sea cage farming, sea weed farming and marine ornamental fish rearing through implementation of the SCSP programmes. Involved in capacity building programmes by imparting training on seed production and farming of marine food fishes and ornamental fishes to all stake holders viz, farmers, fishers, hatchery technicians, students and government officials.
