In alignment with DST’s vision of science and technology for equitable development, the STI Hub is driven by the following strategic objectives:

• Advanced Incubation Infrastructure: Establish a state-of-the-art mariculture incubation centre for inclusive socio-economic development of Scheduled Tribe communities.
• Socio-Economic Empowerment: Empower the Siddi community through structured training, technology-driven enterprise development, and strong science backed technical and advisory support, harnessing their indigenous knowledge to build sustainable and profitable livelihoods.
• Commercialization and Synergy: To foster the development of a platform for the easy commercialization of technologies and the strengthening, linking and promoting towards public-private partnerships through the networking and interaction of ST communities with various enterprises and financial institutions, thereby promoting a sustainable circular knowledge-based economy.
